Now that things are starting to warm up a little, it’s important more than ever to ensure that your sneaker game is on point. And we all know this starts with great sneaker care.

Best Way to Clean Air Jordan 4s at Home

From the minor stains to those dirtiest of mishaps, our premium selection of products puts the graft in so you don’t have to.

But of course, we know the proof is in the pudding, so to prove why we uphold the top spot in the sneaker care pack, let’s take a look at how we clean the Air Jordan 4 ‘Metallic Gold’ using our signature Crep Protect Cure kit.

Before we get foam deep into the tutorial, let's take a little look at some of your most frequently asked questions:

Q: How many sneakers does the Cure Kit clean?

The Cure Kit cleans up to 50 pairs of sneakers.

Q: Can the Crep Protect Cure Kit clean suede or nubuck materials?

A: Yes, the Cure Kit can be used to clean suede and nubuck, but take caution not to use excessive water and brush carefully. Note that dyed suede can bleed, which means you should avoid getting them wet at all. We recommend always testing first in an inconspicuous area before use.

Q: Can the Premium Cleaning Brush be safe to use on all types of sneaker materials?

A: Yes the brush is ideal to use on a range of materials including leather, nubuck, suede, canvas, vinyl & many more. We’ve put our premium brush through years of research and development to ensure that it is safe to use on any sneakers.

Q: Does the Crep Protect Cure Kit have an expiry date?

A: No, the Crep Protect Cure Kit does not have an expiry date, it can be used until you have finished the product. Then I guess it is time to buy some more (*hint *hint).

Now, that we’ve wiped away all the confusion, let’s dive into the tutorial!

Buy our Crep Protect Cure Kit

Step 1: Pick Up A Cure Kit

Before you start the cleaning process of the Air Jordan 4s, remove all the contents of the cure kit ( 100ml Cure Solution, Premium Cleaning Brush and Microfibre Cloth).

Step 2: Undo The Laces & Brush Away Loose Dirt

Remove the laces from your Air Jordan 4s and then its time to start brushing!

Undo the laces

Take the Premium Cleaning Brush and work it on your sneaker in circular and lateral motion, removing any excess dirt and debris. This is important as this makes it easier to tackle the cleaning process.

Step 3: Pour Water & Add Some Drops of Cure

Now that all loose dirt is removed, add some lukewarm water to a bowl and dip the Premium Cleaning Brush in the water until it's saturated.

Then add a few drops of Cure Solution, now you’re ready to start the cleaning process.

Step 4: Start Scrubbing

Work the brush onto the sneakers in a circular motion, starting with the sides, heel and tongue, working your way down to the midsole and outsoles.

As the Air Jordan 4s has mesh sidewalls, it may cause a lot of dirt build-up in those areas, make sure you take extra care on those areas and scrub gently along the grooves of the mesh until your sneakers are fully clean.

Repeat step 4 as many times as you need until the desired results are achieved.

Step 5: Grab a Microfibre Cloth

Grabbing a Microfibre Cloth from the Cure Kit and wiping down the Air Jordan 4s

Wipe away the foam with the Microfibre cloth, working it across the sides, uppers and outsoles.

Step 6: Dunk Laces

It's time to tackle the laces! Start by refilling your bowl of water and adding a generous amount of Cure Solution into the bowl, this will form a foamy solution which will indicate that the laces are ready to be dunked into the water.

Once you’ve placed them in, use your hands to scrub away all the dirt of the laces, you can also use the Premium Sneaker Brush to help you remove stubborn stains.

Step 7: Leave To Dry

Now your Air Jordan 4s are fully clean, let them air dry for 24 hours in a well-ventilated room.
