After 14 years off the radar, the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Fighter Jet’ is preparing for another mission.

First released in 2013, the military-inspired silhouette is reportedly returning in Fall 2027, bringing its unmistakable camouflage design back to the sneaker scene.
The Fighter Jet Is Cleared for Takeoff
Nike's Foamposite era was anything but ordinary. Following the astronomical success of the Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ in 2012, the Swoosh continued experimenting with bold graphics and unconventional colorways.
Enter the ‘Fighter Jet’.
Trading intergalactic inspiration for military aviation, the 2013 release quickly became one of the more distinctive Foamposite designs of its generation. Now, over a decade later, Nike is bringing this fan favorite back into formation.

A Closer Look at the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Fighter Jet’
Staying true to its combat-ready aesthetic, the Foamposite's signature molded upper features a striking camouflage pattern combining Black, Dark Grey, and White.
Hyper Red accents cut through the monochromatic design, while military-inspired details add another layer of character. A red ‘Danger’ warning label sits near the ankle, accompanied by distinctive heel pull-tab graphics and Penny Hardaway's iconic 1 Cent branding.
Underfoot, a translucent outsole completes the design. The original 2013 release also featured commemorative dog tags honoring Hardaway, although their return remains unconfirmed.
