The J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 has officially dropped

With the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 dropping last week, we take a closer look at the superstar J Balvin latest collaboration. The sneaker comes in an energetic blue colourway with cloud graphics on the heel counter and sock liner. For an added twist the Jordan 2 features a rainbow stitching throughout the entirety of the shoe, while J Balvin’s signature smiley face branding appears on the heel. The sneaker is completed with a light-up wings logo on the tongue that illuminates when pressed.

Along with the dreamy aesthetic, J Balvin wanted to channel mindfulness through the product and reflect on his mental health journey in a creative way. The concept of the sneaker is based on how J Balvin overcame walking through dark moments in his life to find the light. The project intends to invoke tranquillity through the colours and materials used throughout the sneaker.
