Nike Unveils the Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial

Nike has just unveiled its boldest soccer-inspired silhouette of the summer: the Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial, and it's already turning heads before even hitting shelves.

Debuted during the high-stakes UEFA Champions League Final, this collaboration marks the first-ever team-up on Nike’s brand-new Cryoshot series, and Amsterdam’s streetwear powerhouse Patta is leading the charge.

Design Details:

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Mercurial R9, this updated design shifts from pitch to pavement with serious flair. Swapping out the iconic Brazil blue and yellow palette, Patta reimagines the classic boot in a fierce combo of vivid red-orange, jet black, and metallic silver, a not-so-subtle nod to the Netherlands' unmistakable 'Oranje' pride. It's part football boot, part futuristic fashion statement.

Patta’s signature spell-out logo makes a strong appearance on both the extended lace shroud and tongue, injecting its distinct streetwear DNA into the silhouette. Meanwhile, the Cryoshot’s icy underfoot TPU cages bring futuristic performance design into lifestyle territory, blurring the lines between sport and street like never before.

More than just a sneaker, the Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial taps into the rising #BootsOnlySummer trend, where football boots aren’t just for the field anymore. It’s a drop that reflects where culture is heading: performance tech meets bold collab energy.

Release Info:

Though no official release date has been announced yet, this launch sets the tone for what could be a blockbuster year for Patta and Nike. With rumoured Patta Air Max 90 colourways lined up for 2025, the duo is just getting warmed up.
