Nike Kobe 5 Protro 'Xray' Releases October 17th

Introduction:

Unveiled by Vanessa Bryant herself, this striking colorway pays homage to the Black Mamba’s iconic ‘Broken Not Beaten’ T-shirt from 2010. Fans and sneakerheads alike are buzzing with excitement for its release on October 17, 2024.

Design Details:

Inspired by Kobe’s incredible perseverance through injuries, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘X-Ray’ showcases a captivating Deep Royal Blue upper, contrasted beautifully by Baltic Blue Swooshes and logos.

Adding a unique touch, the skeleton-inspired graphics are a nod to the 2011 campaign that celebrated Kobe’s ability to play through pain, highlighted by a detailed x-ray of his hand, which famously featured five championship rings. The glow-in-the-dark outsoles and heartbeat patterns not only offer an eye-catching design but deliver superior traction on the court.

For sneakerheads, this ‘X-Ray’ edition marks a fusion of iconic Kobe history and cutting-edge footwear tech.

Release Details:

Releasing at 10 a.m. EST via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers, the Kobe 5 Protro ‘X-Ray’ is priced at $190. While details about the accompanying apparel collection remain under wraps, fans are eager to see what’s next in this tribute to the Mamba’s legacy.
