First look: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x adidas Superstar 'Shelltoe'

Get ready for a trip down memory lane as we celebrate 4 decades of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ legendary existence. In a tribute to this iconic franchise’s evolution, adidas is rolling out a ‘Shelltoe’ Superstar collection that will transport you straight into the golden era of the ‘80s and ‘90s pop culture.

These aren’t just sneakers; they’re a nostalgia-packed adventure that even the wise Master Splinter would commend. Each Turtle receives its own unique treatment, with a distinct colour scheme for every brother. The vibrant green upper features a striking white turtle shell pattern on the toe, paying homage to the beloved heroes in a half-shell.

But here’s where it gets even more exciting: each pair comes with three sets of colourful laces, complete with monogram lace charms showcasing the individual bandana hues of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. The Trefoil logo adorned to the side is flawlessly colour–coordinated to complete the look.

Hidden gems abound in these kicks. Discover a concealed ‘Ninja Power!’ message under the tongue, pizza-themed graphic insoles (The Turtles’ all-time favourite snack), and an enigmatic ‘City Sewer’ cap nestled on the footbed. These sneakers aren’t just shoes; they’re an immersive experience.
