Fat Joe’s Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘University Red’ For an August Release

After nearly a year of teasing, the wait is over: Fat Joe’s Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘University Red’ is finally hitting shelves.

Introduction:

First seen back in late 2023 when Joey Crack stepped out at the BET Hip-Hop Awards rocking the unreleased pair, fans have been hungry for a retail release ever since. Now, Nike has officially confirmed that the sneaker will drop on August 1st via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $150 USD.

Design Details:

Staying true to its roots, the ‘University Red’ edition keeps things crisp and classic. A clean white leather base is paired with bold red overlays, giving off heavy 2000s hip-hop energy. Signature Terror Squad branding hits the lateral heel with an embroidered ‘TS’ logo, while ‘JC’, short for Joey Crack, lands on the heel tab, adding that personal Fat Joe flair. A white midsole and red outsole round out the silhouette, with matching red laces for a bold, unified finish.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Fat Joe team up with Nike. Two Terror Squad Air Force 1s have already dropped in 2023, including the now-iconic black and white colorway. But this ‘University Red’ pair, previously just a sample, is the one fans really had their eyes on. Whether you’re a longtime sneakerhead or new to the Terror Squad legacy, this release is a must-cop.

Conclusion:

With Nike continuing its streak of tapping into early 2000s nostalgia, this drop blends streetwear culture and hip-hop history in a way only Fat Joe can deliver. Keep your calendars marked and your SNKRS app ready—because when these hit, they’re going fast.
