Founded in 2019 by Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, Eastside Golf has been the voice of a community of black, marginalised individuals in the world of golf.

This upcoming release is part of the ‘1961’ collection, celebrating the pivotal year when the PGA Tour abolished racial discrimination. The sneakers symbolises progress and inclusivity in the world of golf.

The design of these sneakers draws inspiration from classic Jordan colorways like 'Bred' and 'Royal.' The upper is constructed from black waterproof leather, offering both style and functionality on the golf course. 'Malachite' green accents on the toebox, ankle collar, and Swoosh add a pop of colour and character.

What sets these sneakers apart are the subtle yet impactful details. The Swoosh is adorned with the Eastside Golf script logo, while the words ‘CHANGE.’ and ‘1961’ are tastefully debossed on the lateral heels of the left and right shoes, respectfully.

Eastside Golf’s logo graces the left tongue tag, alongside the iconic Jumpman logo on the right. Metallic gold wings grace the ankle collar, adding that extra touch of luxury up top.

These Air Jordan 1 High x Eastside Golf sneakers also promise comfort and performance. They feature a ‘Sail’ midsole for cushioning and a ‘Malachite’ green outsole with a distinctive pattern for excellent grip.

The Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 High Golf collaboration was initially set for release on September 8, 2023. However, there was a slight delay, and the new release dates are September 19 through Eastside Golf and September 22 through Nike and the SNKRS app. Available in men's sizing, these golf sneakers are priced at $200.

To coincide with this release, Eastside Golf is hosting the Eastside Golf Invitational, a celebration of golf's culture and history. Taking place from September 24 to 25 in San Diego, Crep Protect will commemorate this special event with limited edition Eastside Golf-branded packaging for their Starter Pack, exclusively available to event attendees. This unique design will serve as a memorable gift for each guest, making this collaboration even more special.
