Possessing 14 consecutive wins, UK Super-Lightweight contender Khaleel Majid is making serious waves in the boxing world.
Fresh off his latest victory against Ramiro Garcia Lopez last weekend, the Bolton-born fighter continues to prove why he's one to watch. With just six weeks until his next fight, he’s pushing harder than ever to stay at the top of his game.
As we gear up for the next edition of Crep Connects, we’re stepping into the ring with our Crep Protect ambassador, Khaleel Majid. He’ll be breaking down what fuels his passion for the sport, his journey so far, and, most importantly, how he keeps his boots fresh, fight after fight.
Read the full interview below:
Crep: Staying undefeated with 14 wins is an incredible achievement—how does it feel to keep the streak going?
Khaleel: I put my success all down to God, it feels amazing to be in this position, especially after many setbacks. Focusing on bigger and better things now.
Crep: With this fight taking place in your hometown of Bolton, did this win feel like a full-circle moment for you?
Khaleel: Absolutely, it definitely felt like a full-circle moment. Growing up in Bolton, I’ve always dreamed of achieving something special in my hometown. To be able to fight here, with all the support from friends, family, and the local community, it just made the victory that much more meaningful.
Crep: What was it like fighting in front of family, friends, and longtime supporters?
Khaleel: It was incredible. There’s nothing quite like fighting in front of the people who’ve been there for you from the very beginning - my family, friends, and supporters. The energy they bring is unmatched and knowing they’re all rooting for you makes you push harder, fight with more heart.

Crep: As cliche as it sounds, when did you first realise that you had a passion for boxing?
Khaleel: It started out from watching my dad as a kid, but from the first moment I laced a pair of gloves I knew this was something I wanted to make a career out of. Nothing comes close to the passion I have for boxing, it's all I’ve ever known.
Crep: With back-to-back fights lined up, could you talk us through what your recovery and preparation routine looks like?
Khaleel: I have a great team in place that manages my training, recovery and nutrition to make sure my body is in the right shape at all times. It takes a lot of dedication all around but the results are there on fight night.
Crep: Is there a specific aspect of your training that you’ll be focusing on for your next opponent?
Khaleel: I leave the game plan to my coach Buddy Mcgirt, he’s a world-class champion and I trust his guidance to lead me to victory.
Crep: What advice would you give to inspiring and upcoming boxers trying to make their mark in the sport?
Khaleel: Always stay focused and most importantly, always believe in yourself. You have to stay consistent in this game, there’s a lot of setbacks but with the right determination, you can achieve it all.
Crep: At Crep, we’re always providing innovative products to keep your sports gear fresh. What are your go-to Crep products when prepping for Fight Day?
Always the Crep protect spray and the Crep wipes keep my boots fresh and shining in the ring.
Crep: Thanks for the interview, Khaleel! Are there any last words that you would like to share with the Crep Protect family?
Khaleel: I’m proud to be part of the Crep Protect family. Your support has been crucial to my success, and it means a lot to have a brand that understands the grind and the hustle. From day one, you've supported me, helping me stay fresh and focused, both in and out of the ring. I’m excited about what the future holds and looking forward to continuing this journey together. Thanks again for everything!
