Best Sneaker Releases of 2025

2025. What a year it's been for sneaker releases.

Air Jordan 4 x Nigel Sylvester 'Brick by Brick'

From hyped collabs, the return of some sought-after favorites and a whole lot of heat, you’ll probably have to cop yourself some sneaker crates (wink wink).

In all honesty, we’re truly sad to see this Mount Rushmore of a sneaker year pass us by.

Before we see what 2026 has in store for the sneaker calendar, let’s take a look back at some of the best sneaker releases for 2025. With no further ado, let’s crack on with this star-studded lineup.

Air Jordan 4 ‘Black Cat’

Air Jordan 4 'Black Cat'

The stealth assassin returned. Dressed head-to-toe in jet black, the Black Cat 4s reminded everyone why subtlety can still cause absolute chaos. No loud colors, no gimmicks, just pure menace. If Batman wore Jordans, these would be in the Batcave rotation.

adidas x Pharrell Adistar ‘Jellyfish’

adidas x Pharrell Adistar ‘Jellyfish’

Pharrell once again proved his mind lives five years in the future. The Adistar ‘Jellyfish’ was weird, wonderful, and wildly wearable. Futuristic curves, aquatic energy, and a silhouette that looked like it swam straight out of a sci-fi runway. Love it or question it, you definitely noticed it.

Converse x SHAI 001

Converse x SHAI 001

An MVP on the court and now firmly one on our feet. The SHAI 001 blended performance precision with off-court drip, giving Converse a modern hoops icon that didn’t need to shout for attention. Clean lines, icy details, and serious star power, Shai really cooked with this one.

Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cat’

Two Black Cat colorways in one year? How Greedy… The AJ3 version brought that same stealth energy with a bit more texture and heritage baked in. Elephant print never looked so dangerous.

Palace x UGG

Palace x UGG

Streetwear meets sofa-core. Palace took UGG out of hibernation and straight onto the streets, delivering cosy silhouettes with just enough attitude. Proof that comfort can still come with clout, and yes, these were harder to get than they looked.

Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 ‘Brick by Brick’

Built, not bought. Nigel’s ‘Brick by Brick’ AJ4 was storytelling done right, raw textures, wear-in vibes, and BMX DNA stitched into every panel. This wasn’t just a sneaker; it was a blueprint for graft, grind, and greatness.

Nike KD 18 ‘Halloween’

Nike KD 18 ‘Halloween’

Kevin Durant clearly had fun with this one. The KD 18 ‘Halloween’ mixed eerie graphics with performance-ready tech, giving us a sneaker that looked spooky but played serious. A seasonal colorway that went way harder than your average costume.

Yu-Gi-Oh x Nike Air Max 95

Yu-Gi-Oh x Nike Air Max 95

Duelists gathered in their masses for this one. The Yu-Gi-Oh Air Max 95s fused early-2000s anime nostalgia with one of Nike’s most iconic runners. Loud, unapologetic, and powered by pure childhood memories.

Awake NY x Air Jordan 5

Awake NY x Air Jordan 5

Awake NY continued their quiet domination with a refined take on the AJ5. Subtle hits, premium finishes, and cultural respect baked in. Not a hype monster, just a beautifully executed colab that aged like fine wine straight out the gate.

Aminé x New Balance ABZORB 2000 ‘Biblioteca’

Aminé x New Balance ABZORB 2000 ‘Biblioteca’

When New Balance and Aminé took us on a journey of energetic greens backdropped in a library setting, it felt like an oxymoron of excellence. Hype sneakers and hushed hallways don’t usually mix, but somehow this worked perfectly. Smart, playful, and one for the sneaker history books.

Undefeated x Air Jordan 4

Undefeated x Air Jordan 4

The return everyone was waiting for. Undefeated brought military precision back to the AJ4, reminding the sneaker world why this colab is spoken about in hushed, reverent tones. A certified grail reloaded for a new era.

Crocs x South Park Collection

Crocs x South Park Collection

Everyone left their woes behind when Crocs came down to South Park. Loud, chaotic, and packed with character-exclusive heat, this clog collection leaned fully into nostalgia and didn’t apologise once. Kenny would’ve approved.

Undefeated x Nike Air Max 95 Collection

Undefeated x Nike Air Max 95 Collection

If one 95 wasn’t enough, Undefeated made sure of it. Tactical palettes, premium materials, and that unmistakable AM95 DNA made this collection an instant flex. Army-ready Air Maxes? Say less.

Nike Air Force 1 Low x Lil Yachty ‘Lucky Green’

Nike Air Force 1 Low x Lil Yachty ‘Lucky Green’

Lil Yachty turned the classic AF1 into a full-blown personality piece. Glossy finishes, bold green hues, and youthful chaos in sneaker form. Nautical nonsense never looked so good, and yes, these got dirty fast… which is why you know what to do

2025 really said 'no weak releases allowed'Now clean your pairs, protect your favourites, and get ready because 2026 is just around the corner.
