Jordan Brand is keeping the momentum going in 2025 with a surprise throwback that’s sure to have sneakerheads talking — the return of the Air Jordan 3 ‘Seoul’, now reimagined as the ‘Seoul 2.0’.

Introduction:
First released in 2018 as a super-limited Korean exclusive and briefly resurfacing in women’s sizing in 2020, this culturally rich colorway is finally making a wider comeback, with a few thoughtful updates in tow.
Originally crafted by Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo inside Nike’s secretive Innovation Kitchen, the OG ‘Seoul’ was a tribute to both South Korea’s 1988 Olympic Games and Michael Jordan’s iconic ’88 Slam Dunk Contest victory.
Design Details:
Fast forward to 2025, and the upcoming 2.0 version stays true to its roots, maintaining the white leather base, classic black and red accents, and those iconic elephant print overlays — though this time, they’ve been given a distressed, hairy suede finish for added vintage flair.
Other updates include a pre-yellowed midsole to give that aged vibe, and a stitched cotton ankle collar — a subtle nod to traditional Korean garments. The South Korean flag remains embroidered proudly on the tongue, keeping the sneaker’s cultural significance intact. The outsole has also been swapped from translucent to solid grey, offering a cleaner finish.
