How to clean your YEEZY 350 V2 using Crep Protect Pure

Keep those YEEZY 350 V2 clean, mean, and pristine with our Crep Protect Pure kit

Introduced to our sneaker shelves in 2016, the YEEZY 350 V2 offered a new feel to the YEEZY lineage. Not only did its sleek Primeknit design provide a new, comfortable feel to your feet, but it also marked a new era of design that became a pivotal moment for the sneaker industry.

Now if you’re a diehard fan of Ye’s conceptual creation, you'll know that these creps are not the easiest to cop, but when you do eventually get your hands on a pair you want to make sure they’re in top-tip condition every time you step out on those city pavements. So this is where we come into the mix.

Crep Protect is here to pick up the slack when your kicks get a little messy, and in this How To demonstration, we walk you through how to clean your Yeezy 350 V2, focusing on the ‘Static’ colourway. Using our expertise, knowledge, and advice you can wave goodbye to dirty, un-kept kicks.

Getting started
1. Before starting the cleaning process of your YEEZY 350 V2s, open up your Crep Protect Cure kit and take out the Premium brush, microfibre towel, and 100ml cleaning solution.

2. Remove the shoe laces, take your multipurpose cleaning brush, and start brushing off as much of the excess dirt and debris as possible. Start with the uppers of the shoe and work your way down to the midsole.

Remember: The multipurpose cleaning brush is suitable for its Flyknit uppers, so this brush will not damage the material.

Cleaning Process

Once your YEEZY 350V2 is free of all loose dirt, it is time to start cleaning.

1. Pour some lukewarm water into your Crep Protect reusable carry case and gently dip your brush in water.

Top Tip: you don’t want to over-drench the Flyknit material with water as this can cause damage to the material.

2. Open up your Crep Protect Cure solution and add a couple of drops of the solution onto the brush. As the Crep Protect Cure solution is concentrated, you won’t need a lot of it.

3. Work your brush in a circular motion and you’ll see that the solution will start to create a foam-like consistency.

4. Clean the YEEZY 350V2 section by section, starting with the toecap, moving onto the sides then rears, adding more solution to your brush if needed.

5. After this, take your microfibre cloth and wipe down any excess foam and then continue to clean around the shoe, until all the dirt is lifted off. Go around the shoe as many times as you need, until you reach that fresh kick feel.
