Crep Connects returns with science sensation Big Manny (A.K.A Emmanuel Wallace).

During lockdown, Big Manny, the 26-year-old content creator who holds a BSc and M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Science has certainly made a household name for himself. Cleverly creating scientific-based content that has become the holy grail for many school students across the globe.

Amassing a cult following on his socials that expands further than the British coastline, we catch up with Big Manny to discuss the backstory behind his content creation as well as teasing his upcoming scientific-based series with us here at Crep Protect.

Crep: Hey Big Manny! Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to chat with us here at Crep, first and foremost, how are you?

Big Manny: Yeah yeah, I am doing good man, we out here with the science tings and that.

Crep: For people who may be unfamiliar with you or your work, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Big Manny: Alright cool, my name is Big Manny, my real name is Emmanuel Wallace, and I am currently 26 years old and have a bachelor's and master's degree in Biomedical Science. I create science videos for students to help them with exams and homework.

Crep: From earning a degree and master's in Biomedical science to gaining a huge social media following from your engaging science-based content, we know this didn’t happen overnight! What was the motivation behind all of this?

Big Manny: Yeah, so the motivation for me behind creating the science video actually came from lockdown. During lockdown, the kids were missing out on bare science lessons and that, and science is a subject where you need to do experiments in order to gain a full understanding of what’s going on. So I started doing the videos to help the kids catch up with what they missed out on because it’s a mad ting!

Crep: Let’s talk a little bit about your upcoming scientific series with us. Without giving too much away, what can our sneakerhead audience expect to see from this series?

Big Manny: Yeah, I can’t lie man did a mad ting with the Crep Protect can , obviously I can’t reveal too much information and that but I’ll give you a likkle information. It contains fire and we also took a look at the science behind how the Crep Protect spray works.

Crep: With scientific content being such a niche in the market, how do you keep your audience engaged with the content you put out?

Big Manny: I’ll be real, to keep my audience engaged, I try to keep my content as relatable as possible. When I am explaining the science behind things I keep it simple, you know what I am saying. So if you don’t have a scientific background you’ll still know wagwarn.

Crep: What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?

Big Manny: You know what yeah, my biggest accomplishment so far is being able to reach millions of people across the world and help them with their science and that man. You know for me that’s a madting, the fact that I can teach people.

Crep: Have there been any challenges that you have faced along the way?

Big Manny: Yeah there have been some challenges you know what I am saying, obviously it’s a lot making all the videos but we just got to keep pushing through and just stay on top of tings man.

Crep: What advice would you give to younger individuals who want to create their own presence in the content creation field?

Big Manny: My advice to the youths that do content creation is any content you are creating, make sure that is going to benefit people in some way. When they finish watching that video, they should walk away from that video a better person.
