First Official Look: Nike Air Max Plus x One Piece ‘Devil Fruits’

The Grand Line is heading straight for sneaker culture as the highly anticipated Nike Air Max Plus x One Piece ‘Devil Fruits’ collection has officially been confirmed for Fall 2026.

First Official Look: Nike Air Max Plus x One Piece ‘Devil Fruits’

Introduction:

Blending iconic anime lore with one of Nike’s most legendary silhouettes, the collaboration is already shaping up to be one of the biggest sneaker releases of the year for both anime fans and collectors alike.

Inspired by the mystical Devil Fruits from the One Piece universe, the capsule will feature three unique Nike Air Max Plus colourways themed around the Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, and Ope Ope no Mi powers. Each pair pays tribute to some of the anime’s most beloved characters while translating their abilities into bold, wearable design language.

Design Details:

Leading the pack is the fiery ‘Mera’ Air Max Plus, inspired by Portgas D. Ace. Rumored to feature blazing orange-to-red gradients, the sneaker channels Ace’s flame-based powers with aggressive energy reminiscent of classic TN colorways loved by longtime sneakerheads.

Meanwhile, the ‘Ope’ edition takes a darker route, expected to combine rich burgundy overlays with subtle swirl textures inspired by Trafalgar D. Law’s Devil Fruit.

Nike Air Max Plus ‘Gomu'

Stealing the spotlight, however, could be the ‘Gomu’ colorway inspired by Monkey D. Luffy himself. Dressed in vibrant purple tones, the sneaker captures the elasticity and chaotic energy of Luffy’s legendary powers while perfectly matching his instantly recognizable aesthetic.

Release Info:

The collaboration won’t stop at footwear either. Nike is reportedly preparing a full One Piece apparel collection including jerseys, t-shirts, and caps designed to complement the sneakers.

Set to release between July and September 2026 for $180 USD each, the Nike x One Piece ‘Devil Fruits’ collection is already shaping up to be a must-have crossover between anime culture and modern sneaker fashion.
