21 Feb Crep Protect x Foot Locker x All-Star Weekend

Over All-Star Weekend, Team Crep Protect was busy in Chicago running a unique activation at Foot Locker. Take a look at what went down below.

For the 68th NBA All-Star Weekend (ASW), 24 of basketball’s greatest players headed to Chicago to celebrate all things basketball. Team Crep Protect was on hand to ensure that residents of the Windy City didn’t miss out on the excitement, partnering with our Global partners at Foot Locker to kick-off things in style.

On Saturday, 14th February 2020, we headed to Foot Locker on 4055 West Madison Street to get the ASW party started. Building on the rich community spirit that drives Chicago, we wanted to make sure that people had the chance to take part in an ASW of their own.

A whole host of fun games and events took place, with basketball activities at the centre. DJs, MCs and the Foot Locker Staff made sure that the atmosphere was fun, with many families spending prolonged periods of time in the store. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Crep Protect activation without our own signature Cop or Flop machine there to make things interesting.

Everyone who made a purchase of Crep Protect products over ASW had the chance to win a pair of hyped sneakers from our Cop or Flop machine. The Cop or Flop machine is a way to give back to the sneaker community, giving them a chance at winning a hyped sneaker for free. Prizes up for grabs included the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 and the sacai x Nike LDWaffle. One lucky winner managed to get their hands on the Air Jordan 3 “Unite” which dropped on ASW.

Toronto Raptors Point Guard Kyle Lowry was also in attendance, giving fans the chance to meet one of the All-Star Game players in real life. Fans were given the chance to learn more about the player in a 1-on-1 environment; a great end to a fun weekend.
